From c7a484e695ca2c5c5f8b85c79a495432fa3e41be Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?R=C3=A9mi=20Denis-Courmont?= Date: Sun, 19 Dec 2021 19:03:39 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] phonet/pep: refuse to enable an unbound pipe MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit This ioctl() implicitly assumed that the socket was already bound to a valid local socket name, i.e. Phonet object. If the socket was not bound, two separate problems would occur: 1) We'd send an pipe enablement request with an invalid source object. 2) Later socket calls could BUG on the socket unexpectedly being connected yet not bound to a valid object.
