tty: resolve some sierra breakage

The various merges into the sierra driver inadvertently undid
commit d9fd7edeebe990c60c7d355b78f75fd4a2095f15 by Elina Pasheva
<epasheva@sierrawireless.com>. Put it back so the OBEX port works again.
