From 4c6c300a71a8815befb107eb94dec05d535c59c7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Brian Foster Date: Wed, 26 Oct 2022 11:58:18 +0530 Subject: [PATCH] xfs: open code insert range extent split helper commit 8c5191ceec35a761368b430aa4e05def9c21a16e upstream. The insert range operation currently splits the extent at the target offset in a separate transaction and lock cycle from the one that shifts extents. In preparation for reworking insert range into an atomic operation, lift the code into the caller so it can be easily condensed to a single rolling transaction and lock cycle and eliminate the helper.
