From 2469317d2d6c96d165c3c10b85b3d8e2644408d6 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Greg Kroah-Hartman Date: Mon, 3 May 2021 13:57:23 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Revert "ASoC: cs43130: fix a NULL pointer dereference" This reverts commit fd8d582e5a4eb29545a46f9bf09c7ad55214ef42. Because of recent interactions with developers from @umn.edu, all commits from them have been recently re-reviewed to ensure if they were correct or not. Upon review, this commit was found to be incorrect for the reasons below, so it must be reverted. It will be fixed up "correctly" in a later kernel change. The original patch here is not correct, sysfs files that were created are not unwound.
